Effect of P2O5 incorporated in slag on the hydration characteristics of cement-slag system

چکیده

This paper presents the influence of P2O5 incorporated in slag on hydration characteristics cement-slag system. It was found that gradual addition phosphorus oxide did not change overall mineralogy products. Except retardation dormant stage, chemically bound water and portlandite contents, degree slag, pore structure at all investigated ages were similar among pastes with different percentages. Furthermore, significantly higher amount monosulfate observed as content increased. In addition, a Al/Si atomic ratio measured C-S(A)-H gel phase formed cement matrix. However, Ca/Si Mg/Al hydrotalcite-like determined pastes, irrespective P2O5. contrast to magnesium ion which retained within original boundary, ions could migrate into Therefore, P/Si C-S-H increased increasing reaching up ∼0.08.

the effect of taftan pozzolan on the compressive strength of concrete in the environmental conditions of oman sea (chabahar port)

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...

Slag Hydration in composite cements

Despite reported synergies between alumina rich supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) and limestone, previous studies have focused on up to 5% limestone content. Slag hydration in the presence of 10% limestone is reported in this paper. Hydration was followed through chemical shrinkage, calorimetry, thermal analysis, electron microscopy and X-ray powder diffraction. The results show that ...

the effect of e-64 on the developmental competence of sheep cocs during in vitro maturation

in the present study, the effect of e-64 at different concentrations (0.5, 1, 5 and 10 µm) added to (1) the ivm medium on oocyte nuclear maturation and developmental competence of ovine oocytes, and (2) to the ivc medium on embryonic development of ovine embryos were investigated.

The Compressive Strength of Cement–Slag–Calcium Sulphoaluminate Ternary System

At present, there is an increasing interest on the use of calcium sulphoaluminate (C4A3$) in cement. In this paper, pure mineral of sulphoaluminate (C4A3$) was prepared in laboratory. Different dosages of steel slag and C4A3$ were blended into cement. The aim of this paper is to investigate the compressive strength of this ternary system. The test results show that the addition of C4A3$ can imp...
